Technique:

Multiplanar multisequence magnetic resonance images of the right/left knee without contrast (or, after the intra-articular administration of gadolinium).

Findings:

There is no evidence of fracture, dislocation or significant joint effusion. Marrow signal is normal in appearance.


The muscles and their tendinous insertions are unremarkable. The posterolateral corner is intact.


The medial and lateral menisci are normal.


The anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments as well as the medial and lateral collateral ligaments are intact.


The medial and lateral patellar retinaculi are intact. The patellar ligament is unremarkable.


The cutaneous and subcutaneous tissues appear normal.


Impression:

Normal MRI (or, MR arthrogram) of the right/left knee.
